Prince of Peace Pre-School Staff
Director - Heidi Riddle began working at Prince of Peace Pre-School in 2007. She started her time at the Pre-School as a teacher in a 3 year old class utilizing her education degree. The following year she began a Science program and taught science lessons to all PoP students for the next 11 years. Heidi moved into Office Administration in 2015. After 4 years as Assistant Director, Heidi stepped into the role of Director in 2020. Heidi has earned her Connecticut Director's Credential.
Assistant Director -Kate Culbreth has been with the Pre-School since 2018. Prior to Prince of Peace Pre-School she worked as a teacher in the public schools. She has worked as a floater, and 3's teacher, and is currently the Science teacher. She moved to the role of Assistant Director in the summer of 2022. Kate has completed administrative coursework in the field of early childhood.
The teachers at Prince of Peace Pre-School are dedicated to providing a warm, caring and accepting environment for the children and their families. Our teachers hold degrees in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Special Education. The highly qualified staff annually completes continuing education hours in current topics and trends in early childhood education. All staff members are trained in Infant and Child CPR, First Aid, and Administration of Medication which exceeds the requirements set forth in the regulations for early childhood programs by the Connecticut Office of Early Childhood.
